[At this point, he's more enjoying the argument than he is actually concerned about winning or making his point. This is the taboo action he's indulging in. Arguing. It's become a sort of hobby.]

There's a little whickering and a tap to the side of the tub, but soon enough she's getting draped over his shoulders as he heads back over to the desk where he keeps little treats for her.
Then he's going to pick up his book again to read. ]
[Sandy is - interesting. He's never actually seen her up close before and to watch Jon handle her is intriguing.
Henry lets out a breath and opens the door to his office, choosing one of the books he dropped off and retrieving it. Then it's back to the chair, curling himself in it as best he can with his lanky frame, and reads. Occasionally, his own companion, his spider, will crawl along his collar, but she's mostly content to stay where she's at.]
